The American Youth Soccer Organization's Badge

This badge is worn by Soccer Referees in the USA only when doing AYSO Youth League soccer games in the USA. AYSO is a recreational soccer league that places an emphasis on sportsmanship and fair play rather than the competition of the game. Parental support and involvment is the cornerstone of what makes AYSO work. AYSO certifies its own officials and coaches and are not paid. They have their own testing, certification and badge. This is a Regional AYSO badge. Typically the entry level AYSO referee. Other badges issued by AYSO are:
